Dr. Xie is looking for self-motived PhD students interested in doing research in the areas of wireless networks, mobile computing, edge computing, mobile augmented reality (AR) / mixed reality (MR) / virtual reality (VR), intelligent and connected vehicles, and energy-efficient system design.

  • April 12, 2024: Anik Mallik's paper was accepted by the very competitive IEEE International Conference on Distributed Computing Systems (ICDCS 2024).

  • June 29, 2021: Moinul Hossain received a National Science Foundation (NSF) CRII Award. This award is from the Computer and Information Science and Engineering (CISE) Research Initiation Initiative program. It will support Moinul's research on "Security Assessment of Spectrum Coexistence in Co-located Heterogeneous Wireless IoT Networks".

  • June 9, 2020: Moinul Hossain and Haoxin Wang successfully defended their PhD dissertations.

  • June 2, 2020: Moinul Hossain received the ECE Outstanding Graduate Student Award. The 2019-2020 ECE Student Achievement awards have been announced on the ECE website.
