Week of Monday October 27, 2003
  • Here is the lab 4 test program.  Load it on one of your boards, and hook it up to another board running your code.  Use the cable and the two adapters that came with the cable kit.
  • For those of you doing an ORCAD design, here are some guidelines (by Steven Tucker)
  • Here is an "Acronym Sheet", as provided by a TA at NCSU.
  • Lab 5 is posted and is due November 10. 
  • There will be no class on Wednesday November 5 and Wednesday November 12.  Use the time to work on assignments and projects.  The TA will be in the class to collect homework, but you can turn it in early
  • Homework 12 is posted and due December 8 (but you can turn it in earlier)

  • For those taking ECGR 5090/6090/8090:  A one page description of your project is due October 7.  See this handout for guidelines of each of the items due for your project.
  • Don't forget, the midterm exam is Wednesday, October 15.  It's not too early to start studying!  Sample tests are in the Quiz/Exam page.
  • Fall break is October 13 and 14.  There is no class Monday, October 13.  Dr. Conrad will not be in town those two days.
  • Homework 6 is posted and is due October 8.
  • Lab 3 is posted and is due October 8.

  • Welcome to ECE 3090/5090/6090!  The first day of class is Monday, August 25.
  • This class will be based heavily on the web pages.  For example:
    • Please take the time to read the class syllabus
    • Homework assignments will be posted here and not distributed in class.
    • Lab assignments will be posted here and not distributed in class.
    • Homework and Lab solutions will also be posted on their respective pages, but will stored in a "locked" page, assessable to only those registered for the class.
    • Exam solutions will be posted on the Quiz page.
    • Check out the special hints and helps at the bottom of the home page!
  • Homework 1 is available, and due Wednesday, September 3, 2003.  It's simple - just based on the syllabus, class discussions, and one reading.
  • Lab 1 is available and is due September 8, 2003 at class time.  Each lab pair should check out a phone and torx screwdriver from Dr. Conrad on 9/2 or 9/3.
  • Due to the university holiday, there is no class on Monday, September 1.
