Football enthusiasts may want to know that on Nov. 16 th @ 1:00 pm, the Detroit Lions will be playing against  The Carolina Panthers.  The Stadium is in walking distance from hotel. Tickets and Information can be found at http://www.panthers.com/home/

FRANKENSTEIN enthusiasts will want to know about the production "MONSTER" by Neal Bell, qhich is a the CAST Theatre only about a mile or two from the Omni Hotel. The play, directed by Charlotte Area Science Network member, Michael Simmons promises to be be an outstanding production. The CAST Theatre, which is equipped with its own bar, is in the Plaza-Midwood neighborhood nearby excellent restaurants (e.g. Fig Tree, Nolia) and comfortable mid-range eateries (Cafe Intermezzo, Creation, Dish, Zada Janes, and the ever dependaple Fuel Pizza.).
