I am currently a Lecturer in the Department of Computer Science at UNC-Charlotte. My PhD was advised by Dr. Jing Xiao. I completed my undergraduate studies at UNCC in 2012 and entered the PhD program in Fall 2013. I am a member of the Robotics Lab where I am studying real-time robot motion planning. My research involves creating a holistic planning framework that can achieve real-time motion planning for real non-holonomic robots in the presence of unknown obstacles that move in unforeseen ways and are detected via real-time sensing.

Outside of robotics research, I spend my time on games, reading, running, and watching tv and movies.
