Prerequisite: MATH 2164 or consent of the department.

Coloring of Graphs (Chapter 5)
Hamiltonian Cycles (Chapter 7, Section 7.2)
Planar graphs (Chapter 6, Sections 6.1, 6.2)
Test Dates:
Test I Monday September 24, 11:00-11:50 am
Test II Friday November 2, 11:00-11:50 am
Final Exam: Wednesday December 12, 12:00pm - 3:00pm

Homework: Homework will be handed in nearly every week, and will be usually due on Monday. I will make an effort to regularly post the homework on the webpage http://www.coe.uncc.edu/~ghetyei/courses/3116/hw.html .  In case of discrepancy, what I said in class is "official".
Evaluation: Grades will be based on: 25% for the homework, 21 % for each of the tests, and 33 % for the final.
Class meeting: Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays 11:00-11:50 am in Fretwell 120.
