Minli Xu is currently a PhD student in IT PhD program (Bioinformatics track), at UNC-Charlotte. Minli comes from Shanghai, China, where he was born. Minli Xu previously received his B.Sc degree (with honor) in Molecular Biotechnology from the Chinese University of Hong Kong. Currently Minli Xu is doing a lab rotation project with Dr. Livesay on protein hydrogen binding conservation. Last semester he was rotating in Dr. Su ‘s Lab on cAMP receptor protein binding sites perdition in cyanobacterial genomes by using algorithms from comparative genomics.
