I'm a second year graduate student in bioinformatics at UNC-Charlotte . My interest is focused on the design of algorithms to identify rigid and flexible regions in proteins. Pursuing this interest I became part of Dr. Livesay's lab & Dr. Jacobs' Lab in autumn 2007. Before getting in UNCC I worked for three years as Computer Science Lecturer at the Instituto Tecnologico Superior de Santiago Papasquiaro (Durango, Mexico). I also find the area of Theory of Computation very attractive.
