News:

  • May 25, 2017: Xingya Liu accepted a tenure-track faculty offer from Lamar University. Xingya will join the Department of Computer Science (CS) at Lamar University as a tenure-track Assistant Professor in September 2017. We wish the best for Xingya!

  • April 27, 2017: Tamer Samak successfully defended his Master's Thesis.

  • March 28, 2017: Ji Li and Xingya Liu successfully defended their PhD dissertation.

  • November 26, 2016: Xingya Liu's paper was accepted by the very competitive IEEE INFOCOM conference (INFOCOM 2017).

  • July 3, 2014: Yi Song won UNC-Charlotte 2014 Graduate Dean’s Distinguished Dissertation Award in the category of Math, Science and Engineering (one doctoral student selected every two years in the entire UNCC campus).

  • November 24, 2013: Xingya Liu's paper was accepted by the very competitive IEEE INFOCOM conference (INFOCOM 2014).

  • April 25, 2013: Yi Song accepted a tenure-track faculty offer from Wichita State University. Yi will join the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (EECS) at Wichita State University as a tenure-track Assistant Professor in August 2013. We wish the best for Yi!

  • November 18, 2012: Haopeng Li's paper was accepted by the very competitive IEEE INFOCOM conference (INFOCOM 2013).

  • March 22, 2012: Yi Song received the ECE Outstanding Research Assistant Award. Yi is recognized at the College of Engineering Celebration of Student Achievement Event on April 24, 2012. 

  • November 17, 2011: Haopeng Li and Yi Song's papers were accepted by the very competitive IEEE INFOCOM conference (INFOCOM 2012).

  • March 22, 2011: Weiyi Zhao received the ECE Outstanding Research Assistant Award. Weiyi is recognized at the College of Engineering Celebration of Student Achievement Event on April 29, 2011. 

  • November 19, 2010: Yi Song's paper was accepted by the very competitive IEEE INFOCOM conference (INFOCOM 2011).

  • November 22, 2009: Weiyi Zhao's paper was accepted by the very competitive IEEE INFOCOM conference (INFOCOM 2010).

  • March 31, 2007: Uday Narayanan received the 3rd place award for his excellent poster presentation at The 7th UNCC Annual Graduate Research Fair.
