April 27

  • Congratulations to all who completed the bridge contest project. Results have been posted on the bridge contest page (see results now).
  • Grades should be posted by Thursday of this week. You will be able to pick up your grades by picking up homework #10 online.
  • Homeworks 5 and 6 have been graded. You can pick up your grade online. You may resubmit the homework until next Monday for a maximum of 75 points.

April 22

  • Due dates for Hwks. #8 and #9 delayed by one week until May 1 and May 4
  • Answers to test 2 can be downloaded (version1 version2)

April 15

Old tests and quizzes from the Fall 2007 and Spring 2008 class have been added to the old_tests page.

April 12

  • New versions of homeworks #8 and #9 were posted on Friday
  • New rules for the bridge contest have been posted
  • A new version of TrussAnalyzer.xls is available (changed to have the new rules)
  • New listing of bridge contest groups have been posted

March 16

A new TrussAnalyzer.xls file is now available. This new version has been improved with additional error checking. If your truss design is giving you error messages, you might want to copy your truss spreadsheet into the new version of TrussAnalyzer. A link to the spreadsheet is on the Bridge Contest page.

  • No class Monday, March 23
  • Homeworks 6-9 can now be downloaded
  • A program is now available that can read your truss spreadsheet and make a drawing (see bridge contest page)
