Who am I and what do I do?

I am a third year undergraduate pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics with a minor in the Earth Sciences. Some hobbies of mine include bicycling, running, camping, cooking, and drawing. At present, my goal is to attend a prestigious graduate school with a research focus in Physical Oceanography.

Things I have been involved with in the 2009-2010 school year:

  • Being President of Charlotte Area Robotics.
  • Competing with UNC Charlotte this past June in Buzzards Bay, Massachusetts for the International Marine Advanced Technology Education center (MATE) Remote Operated Vehicle (ROV) competition and getting 16th place out of the 28 teams that competed. I'd say our team did pretty well considering it was UNC Charlotte's first year in the competition.
  • Telefundraising for UNC Charlotte with a company called RufalloCody.
