Biographical Synopsis

Andrew is a PhD student in the Computer Science department at UNCC, working in the Future Computing Lab under the direction of Dr. Dale-Marie Wilson. He has a keen interest in intelligent tutoring systems and the use of embodied pedagogical agents as facilitators in such technologies. His research has appeared in several academic publications, including the Journal of Information Systems Security, International Journal of Business Environment, Communications of Global Information Technology, and Communications of the Association for Information Systems. He is also a regular reviewer and contributor for the Southeast Institute for Operations Research and the Management Sciences.

Hobbies and Interests

Andrew spends most of his spare time with his family. He enjoys outdoor activities such as hiking and rock climbing. He also enjoys carpentry and creative writing. In addition to a growing library of short stories and poetry he is currently working on a series of young adult fantasy/adventure novels.
