Following his first retirement Gyorgy has taught several courses as a part time faculty
for ten years. Now he enjoys his full retirement with his wife, Joli, and their extended
family. They spend a lot of time in their new vacation home in Hungary where they also care
for a bunch of nice fruit trees. They love to read and travel.
Gyorgy still maintains a wide-ranging interest in science and technology and tries
to follow the new developments in areas related to
his own publications.
At the same time it gives him great pleasure to pass the
baton to his three sons who became outstanding scholars in their respective fields;
Szilard in mathematics, Tamas in the mathematical modeling of the economy, and Peter
in computer science. Here is the proof:
Besides being excellent scholars all three have wonderful families. This means
that Gyorgy and Joli enjoy now a total of twelve grandchildren plus three
great-grandchildren. Naturally, their home is always busy.
