Beginning E-Mail

In order to more quickly get a feel for the class demographic, please send me an e-mail at mirsad@uncc.edu. In the Subject line put 1210 Beginning E-Mail. This is your opportunity to tell me anything special you would like to learn, and if you are worried about some aspect of the course. Each class is different and information like this helps me to know you better. Your e-mail is due to me no later than Friday, August 28 at 5:00 P.M. Please include the following elements:
· Your name.
· A phone number (home, work, cell, or all and please identify which is which). This is optional but often helpful.
· Your official UNCC e-mail address. This is the e-mail address I will use for most if not all class communications.
· Any photograph of you. Optional but often helpful - particularly when it comes to assigning grades for class participation.
· A brief statement that you have activated and will use your UNCC e-mail address when communicating with me and will check it frequently for messages from me or my TA.
· The name of the server on which you will be posting your Web Page assignment (example: http://webpages.uncc.edu or http://49web.uncc.edu, etc.). If you do not know, check with a TA in one of the major computer labs like Barnard.
· A short statement of anything in particular you would like to learn from this course. Please don't repeat the course objectives - I already know them. Don't feel obligated to put anything here, this is optional.
· A short statement of any concerns you have about your ability to complete this course. Once again, this section is optional.
