I am a mechanical engineering student here at UNC Charlotte; I am also a sophomore and transfer student. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my three rescue dogs and exploring nature. I like to go kayaking, hiking and backpacking, snowboarding and much more. I am an avid lover of music, when I was younger I learned how to play the guitar and drums; however, my life over the years has been very busy so I am a little rusty with the instruments. I love listening to all different types of music, it is a very important aspect of my life. My overall goal is to become a biomedical engineer so that I may help make the lives of others easier. I knew I wanted to become this type of engineer during my junior year of high school when I suffered from a severe concussion and was forced to choose between my health and my passion.
