I'm currently a Ph.D. Student in the Department of Computer Science at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, advised by Prof. Shaoting Zhang.

My interests mainly focuses on Machine Learning, especially Deep Learning. Check my CV for details.



  • Color Correction

    High resolution digital scanning equipment can only capture a narrow strip of image at one time, and the colors are often severely distorted. A correction and stitching approach was used to produce whole-view and color preserving images of heritages.

  • Object Detection

    In order to segment the moving objects from  digital videos, we used Gaussian Mixture Model (GMM) to model the background.  Then the moving objects were segmented from the videos through frame difference.
