Amy Stonger

PhD Candidate, UNC Charlotte

I am a PhD candidate in the Department of Bioinformatics at UNC Charlotte, under the advisement of Dr. Jessica Schlueter. I graduated summa cum laude with a B.S. in Biology from UNC Charlotte in May of 2011. The initial three years of my graduate education were funded through the NSF Graduate Research Fellowship, that I was awarded in April of 2011. More recently, in the Spring of 2015, I was selected as a Graduate Assistance in Areas of National Need (GAANN) Computing Scholar.
