Western China

September 11 through the 25th I attended an INQUA/NSF conference in western China.  This meeting brought together geomorphologists, who focus on alpine glaciation, from around the world to discuss modern techniques and results.  The main conference was held in Xining and was followed by a microbus tour to Lhasa.  Click on pictures for high resolution versions.
